Macac and flowers

I was working recently on a really very nice commission. I had to paint macac and several plants. The colors were inspired by South East Asia old botanical prints and form of monkey was slightly inspired by wayang shadow puppets and influenced by cubistic touch. I started with the real acrylic painting on paper for initial sketches and for keeping the "acrylic" texture. And I continued in Photoshop after.
