Annexions - kino koncert - film, Erasmus Plus

Annexions project.

Produced in the school year 2022/2023 as a three-school project under the Erasmus Plus programme.

Students from the Wichterlovo Gymnasium in Ostrava, Lycee Cormontaigne (Metz, France), and the Deutsch-Französisches Gymnasium Saarbrücken in Saarbruck acted in the film, assisted with the creation of sets, and collaborated on research in historical archives.

The project also involved the Lycée de la Communication Metz film school, whose students formed the film's production team and also filmed the making of the film.

The film is an integral part of the cinema concert and is accompanied by the music of Dmitri Shostakovich played by a live orchestra conducted by Jacques Mercier.

The theme is unfortunately still more than topical. Stanislas Cotton wrote the script. Haruna Honcoop directed the film. Jana Hojdová was the director of photography. I created the visual design and styling of the film, loosely inspired by Lars von Trier's Dogville.

Vincent Goethals directed the acting and the choruses.

A team of educators from all three schools contributed to the production, history education, interpretation, choreography...

The cinema concert was previewed on June 13, 2023 in Metz at the Arsenale.
